The house is constructed using large hardwood posts (Tallowwood and Yellow Stringy bark) locally cut. They are 18 inches to 24 inches in diameter and sunk approximately 1.5 metres into the ground. Large timber beams support the floors (main and upper) and the walls are Ferro cement (with excellent insulation qualities).
